Join friends and faculty for a virtual Reunion Weekend, April 15-18. Although this year’s format and schedule looks different, we can’t wait to celebrate with you online. Registration opens March 16.
We look forward to sharing these amazing online experiences and more with you:
- Take a stroll down memory lane with Jodi Koste, VCU Libraries’ MCV Campus historian, as you look at campus then and now.
- Join a diversity, equity and inclusion panel about amplifying voices in health care.
- Attend town halls with school and college deans to hear the latest updates.
- View on-demand videos, including virtual tours and online lectures.
Between throwback photos, shared memories, interesting discussion topics, cultural experiences and more, the weekend’s activities will give you that little boost of VCU connection you’ve been looking for in our current virtual world. We can’t wait to see you there!
Please note: This virtual event requires an internet connection and computer, tablet or smartphone. It is a priority to make our events inclusive and accessible and VCU is pleased to provide accommodations for people with disabilities. Requests for events and services, such as live closed captioning or ASL interpretation, should be submitted through the registration form.
The perks of a virtual reunion
While we would prefer to gather in person, there are definite upsides to a virtual reunion celebration. Here are our top three.
✓ There’s no commute.
Do you live far from campus or lack the time for traveling to Richmond? That’s no problem this year! You can attend your virtual reunion from the comfort of your couch. No babysitters, designated drivers or other planning needed!
✓ You can fake a really cool location.
Join from the kitchen of your dreams or even from a tropical location! You can adjust your background image to whatever you desire. We’ll also be providing some VCU virtual backgrounds if you want to put yourself back on campus.
✓ Enjoy On-demand content.
VCU Alumni has hosted more than 20 online events and expert Q&As this past year. During Reunion Weekend, you can check out the library of archived content at your leisure.
