About the speaker
Amy Pridemore is executive director of the Virginia Credit Union Financial Success Center at VCU. The VACU Financial Success Center employs nine peer financial coaches and also provides financial literacy programming for various student groups, faculty, staff and alumni. To expand the outreach of the VACU Financial Success Center, Amy is actively engaged in building financial education programs for small business owners and underserved populations in the Richmond, Virginia, area. She is an instructor in the finance, real estate and insurance department in the VCU School of Business where she teaches a personal finance course to VCU students of all majors. Prior to her time at VCU, she was director of the Center for Financial Literacy and Education at West Virginia University where she was an integral part of building programs and curriculum supporting financial education in the state of West Virginia.
